Proposal: Build a sensor network into the core of our space. Track temperature, humidity, light levels, motion, network activity, doors, beverages, etc.

Inspiration: LVL1's Mother, Spacemon / lidless

I'm thinking we may have one central server that all data flows to, and then provide an API to the data there for people to build applications upon. Sensors could be connected to Arduinos, Teensys, other microcontrollers, Raspberry Pis, etc. and maybe if we're running wires everywhere we can leverage them to move the data to the central server. Then again, maybe someone way smarter than me has a better idea. We've got some great software devs as members.
