Patrick Lichty is a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee At the Peck School of the Arts in the Digital Studio Practices area. He finished his MFA in Virtual Reality and Fabrication at Bowling Green State University in 2006, and has also taught at Columbia College Chicago.
His interests at the Makerspace are anything having to do with fabrication, from 3D printing to laser cutting to CNC and routing with the Kuka. He also teches Arduino and sculpture classes, as well as interactive environment classes using MAX/MSP.
Currently, he is working on taking drone photography and making 3D models for fabrication and using large-scale tapestries to use in Augmented Reality installations.
He also does 3D animation and media production for an activist group called The Yes Men.
