+  *LaDonna Green from Growing Green Garden, a community garden that emphasizes soil and water irrigation/conservation, community education, and community-building, shared a bit of history of her organization. Ms. Green has offered to help MMS volunteers in planning the green spaces around Lenox and the brown field spaces at Norwich. Dan Jonke, Tim Erdmann, and Jen Vanviere connected earlier with Ms Green when she worked with Alice’s Garden. They hope MMS members might step up to help her efforts to assemble a steel garden shed, install rain gutters, build a bench, and design/build a tiny library. There is also a need for plant identifiers, perhaps with laser cut QR Codes, Look for messages about how to get involved. Anyone interested in leading some of these efforts should reach out to Dan, Jen, or Tim.
