Agenda items

  • Discuss PPE update (first aid kit updates)
  • Notes from Mike H:

At Lenox:

  1. Refill existing first aid kits at Lennox: $120
    1. These date from 2008-2016. As expected they’re missing items. In addition everything with an expiry date has expired.
  2. Move items from painted first aid cabinet to supply storage and purchase an ANSI B First aid kit refill $125
    1. The most visible first aid kit in the place is the wooden one next to the breaker box, I feel it’s the one someone would be likely to go to in a panic. Inside it currently has a lot of redundant materials, and it’s missing some others. I think it’s best to clear it out and start with a good assortment. The items inside can be used to restock the other kits going forward.
  3. Add additional items
    1. CPR masks in each kit Qty 9 $26.73
    2. Tourniquet in each kit Qty 9 $62.73
    3. Trauma shears each kit Qty 9 $33.75 (the supplied scissors are generally missing anyway)
    4. Aspirin each kit qty 20 $ 2.97 (for cardiac arrest)
    5. Narcan qty 2 $45
    6. Add mirror near each eyewash station $1.80
  4. Refill eyewash stations $245.16 All are expired. Dates from 2015 to 2022
  5. Black out first aid language on ppe filing cabinet, but use for excess first aid inventory. I don’t want people to think it’s a first aid kit.
  6. replace phone near bike area $10 It’s missing
  7. Make box for Narcan, hang next to AED
  8. Add CPR mask and safety razor to AED kit (learned in CPR class you should really have a razor for hairy chests)
  9. Lens cleaning wipes $20

Total, all options: $723
