• 2014/01/03 - Ghosting, double images noted in top left (origin) of workspace, possible carriage is coming off track due to inertia when changing direction, refrain from using raster engraving in corner of machine or use vector and slower speeds
• 2014/02/01 - Ghosting problem solved. The lower bearing on the back of the carriage was not lined up properly. Currently fully functional.
• 2014/04/22 - Problems with the z-axis not homing properly, eventually fixed
• 2014/05/08 - Replaced gas springs on lid
• 2017/08/20 - Replaced painter's tape on front panel with vinyl
• 2018/02/27 - Problems with the z-axis not homing properly, bent metal at hall effect sensor, see Tony W

• The Laser Cutter is expensive and dangerous. DO NOT leave it unattended. Things can start on fire.
• Some jobs take a long time to run. If you need to run to the bathroom or something, find someone to watch it for you.

• Turn machine on
• After the display reads “READY” open the lid
• There's stuff you select in the menu options
• Then use the arrow keys to raise and lower the bed
• Find the focus gauge located left of the bed inside the machine, it is a white post with a round, black base
• Place the gauge with the black base down on your material, under the red carriage

• When the bed won't rise up or it only lowers, try these steps
• Turn machine power off
• Clean the infrared sensor and reflector across the top half of the bed
• Manually raise the bed by turning the vertical screws by hand
• There's a two-pronged, u-shaped sensor in the middle of the bed on the right
• The bed has a peg that slides into this sensor
• If the sensor is dirty, the machine will think it has homed already. Clean as needed.
• Turn machine back on and press Z to auto focus
• Check Chapter 4 of the V460 Manual for Troubleshooting
