Safety Note
Rule and Regulation of the Week
25 hour to 2-week Parking Permits
An extended parking permit can be authorized by either a Board Member or an Area Champion of the area involved.
Extended parking permits are intended for larger short-term projects.
Extended parking permits are valid for a maximum of two weeks.
It is the Member's responsibility to locate their project in an out-of-the-way area and consult with an Area Champion of the space involved so as to not interfere with other people and their projects.
Long Materials Storage
Any member can place materials in the long materials storage area with a Parking permit.
Securely fasten your permit to your materials. Materials without a permit may be confused with material that is available for general use.
Parking permits in long materials storage are valid for up to 2 weeks with an Area Champion's or Board Member's signature
We understand some people need space for a long term project. See Dan Jonke about renting space. This is one of the reasons we expanded to the Norwich building……WE NEEDED MORE SPACE!
Member Topics and Announcements
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
Member meetings on even numbered days will be held at Lenox
Member meetings on odd numbered days will be held at Norwich
This will allow for new members to tour each building and attend member meetings on consecutive weeks.
CERAMICS AND CERVEZAS every Wednesday.
No heavy equipment in the newly paved parking lot for the next few months as the asphalt hardens. Pls reach out to Tom G, Dan J, Jake B or Rudy if you need to use a fork lift outside the building to load/unload. Do NOT attempt to use the fork lift outside the Norwich building.
Carl S started a new Fusion 360 class on Monday June 21st. It is a hybrid class (on-line and in person at Lenox). They are designing a power wheels car. You can join any time.
Tom G shared there are paper printers (no, not 3D printers) available for members for a $30 donation to the Space. See Tom G. Printers are at Norwich, just west of the metal shop.
Hapto/Sara announced she is reworking the tall wood storage at Lenox. Keep a look out for communications from her on this project.
