The RPM Challenge happens each year in February, with the idea that you record 10 songs or 35 minutes of original music. You need to do it all during February. Start on the 1st, and finish on the 28th. Write, record, mix, etc.

Pete has done this for three years now as an individual artist because “It's a fun project.” Pete suggested on the mailing list that we (as a group) take part in the RPM Challenge. Doing it as a group will present some challenges, but hey, how many hackerspaces will be able to say they put out an album. :) While this didn't end up happening as a group, The Cacophonator took up the challenge!
