Milwaukee Makerspace Lighting Controller
Purpose
- To control the lights in the Makerspace (save some cash, yo!)
- Avoid having to turn lights on/off using breakers
- Make lighting controls more user-friendly for members

Version 1.0 - Completed
- Installation of 10 relays, 3 terminal strips, various control wiring, etc.
- First control panel with board-mounted switches and indicator LEDs for each zone
- Development started in Winter 2012
- Completed in Spring 2013
Version 2.0 - Completed
- Upgrade control panel to LED pushbuttons arranged on a zone map of the building
- Consolidated quantity of zones from 10 to 7
- Development started November 07, 2013
- Completed November 16, 2013
Version 3.0 - Work in progress
Features
- Turn on and off lights in specific zones from center alley furnace room
- Turn on and off lights in specific zones from that zone via remote switch.
- Turn on and off lights in east zones via smartphone/website
- Acquire current status of lights
