• The woodshop area champion had to change a very sharp, but bent bandsaw blade today on the large Rockwell with the 3/4“ blade.
  • The guide was too high for the piece the member cut.
  • REMEMBER to have the bottom of the guide 1/8” to 1/4“ above the piece you are cutting so the back bearing can support the blade as you cut.

• Events for 2021
  • Most regular events will begin in person with the drop in Covid cases. Please check for messages on the members only google group from the events' hosts.
  • Fusion 360: in person at Norwich on Mondays at 7 PM.

• What do you call a member that asks to be retrained on a machine?
  • A smart, safe member.
  • Not 100% sure…….ASK!

* Before you begin to repair a machine, speak with the Area Champion.

• It may be their machine.
• They know the ins and outs of these machines and may save everyone time
• We are always looking for folks to help with routine maintenance and repairs. We just want to ensure they know what they are doing.
• The Area Champions will train you how to do maintenance and repairs correctly.
