• This week's helpful hint comes from awesome member and former Board member Sarah, aka Hapto:
  • For the laser folks who cut many many tiny pieces and want to keep those pieces–and not lose them down the honeycomb or embark on the mind numbing task of individually picking them up….

The tulle scrap in the lab and the vacuum together make a nice catch all for the pieces you want. Shove about 5 inches (use the center not from the edge!) into the hose and hold the fabric firmly, and vacuum up the itty bitty bits and and when full, turn off the vacuum and transfer to the receptacle of your choice.

  • Most regular events will begin in person with the drop in Covid cases. Please check for messages on the members only google group from the events' hosts.
  • Fusion 360: NEW classes begin next Monday at 7 PM.

• What do you call a member that asks to be retrained on a machine?
  • A smart, safe member.
  • Not 100% sure…….ASK!

• Before you begin to repair a machine, speak with the Area Champion.
  • It may be their machine.
  • They know the ins and outs of these machines and may save everyone time
  • We are always looking for folks to help with routine maintenance and repairs. We just want to ensure they know what they are doing.
  • The Area Champions will train you how to do maintenance and repairs correctly.
