Helpful Hint

This week's helpful hint comes from member Jon Drayna:
- If you take piece from the wall of little hardware drawers to check and see if it's right for your need, leave the drawer open an inch, so that if you need to put the piece back you can easily find the spot you got it from.

- Fusion 360 classes continue virtually, Monday's at 7 PM.

Safety Note

This week's safety tip comes from Woodshop Champion Rick Pretsch:
- Many members wear headphones for hearing protection, others for music, podcasts, etc.
- Please remember you are “turning off” a key sense that helps keep you and others be safer around dangerous machines
- If you wear headphones, please have vigilant situational awareness. Consider taking them off before you leave to re-engage the sense of hearing to make sure you are leaving the shop in a good safe place for the next person
- Last week we had a member wearing headphones use a machine to cut material, left it running and went home.
- Thank goodness the next member that entered the area heard the machine running and turned it off.

Rule and Regulation of the Week

Feel free to consume the resources of the space (scrap, electronic components,etc) but PLEASE be reasonable about the quantity. NO MASS PRODUCTION using the community materials! It is also courteous to donate to that area to help replenish those materials consumed.
