Helpful Hint

This week's helpful hint comes from the 50th Anniversary issue of MAKE magazine
- When you make a mistake on a project, take the time to figure out how to fix or hide your mistake.
- It is so much easier than starting over and more rewarding than just walking away from a project.
- Remember: you are a MAKER

Events for 2021
- Most regular events on pause due to COVID spike.
- Fusion 360 classes continue virtually, Monday's at 7 PM.

Safety Note

The members purchased and installed a portable AED on the wall next to the sign up desk at Lenox (right by the craft lab).
What is an AED?
- Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are portable, life-saving devices designed to treat people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, a medical condition in which the heart stops beating suddenly and unexpectedly.
- Directions are in the kit, quick to read, relatively easy to implement.

Rule and Regulation of the Week

With the spike in COVID due primarily to the Omicron variant, the Board of Directors has reinstated the mask mandate. If you are working in an area alone, you do not have to wear a mask. If there are other people sharing the area, ALL members must wear a mask.
Want to be an excellent member……always wear a mask in both facilities.
