Maker Fair scheduled for September 24-26. Fair being hosted by MSOE

Carl S: FUSION 360 classes are now held at NORWICH (moving from Lenox) at 7 PM. Classes can be attended in person, or virtually (Carl will send you the link). Thank you Carl.
Reminder:
Member meetings on even numbered days will be held at Lenox
Member meetings on odd numbered days will be held at Norwich
This will allow for new members to tour each building and attend member meetings on consecutive weeks.
CERAMICS AND CERVEZAS every Wednesday.
No heavy equipment in the newly paved parking lot for the next few months as the asphalt hardens. Pls reach out to Tom G, Dan J, Jake B or Rudy if you need to use a fork lift outside the building to load/unload. Do NOT attempt to use the fork lift outside the Norwich building.
Tom G shared there are paper printers (no, not 3D printers) available for members for a $30 donation to the Space. See Tom G. Printers are at Norwich, just west of the metal shop.
Adrian: discussed nerdy derby and the need for scrap wood. Leave the wood at Lenox marked for the nerdy derby.
EGG DROP competition: scheduled for Tuesday, September 7th. At Norwich 7:30 to 8:30 PM.

#1 Build from hack rack before meeting. Building is open from 6 to 7PM day of the competition.
Build for the next 2 weeks using whatever you would like.
More rules to be announced as people think of them.

Project Updates
Faith F: Renaissance Faire costume. She spend ~120 hours making it. The armor is from bark, the corset hand sown sticks. The photo showed a spectacular costume.
Tim C: 3D printed a new BOD/President name badge
Adrian: Has cut 312 pieces of wood for the Nerdy Derby cars at Maker Faire
Jon: Made a camping box out of wood
Dan L: worked on his 3D printing skills when out at sea.
Harry: shared an excellent 1 minute animated film from his series “Space Station 19”. He will send out the You Tube link to members to see each of his episodes
Brian: built a fantastic score board with Clock, app, colors for teams, balls, strikes, outs, and many other features.
Karen: deconstructed and re-engineered a dress for a friend.
