Member Topics and Announcements

  • Tuesday night is trash and housekeeping night. The dumpster is hungry; feed it!
  • The vacuums on the other hand frequently are over-full. Please help them out by emptying them.
  • Please turn out the lights and check to make sure the 3 gas tanks in the welding area are shut off (lefty loosey, righty tighty). Thank you!

What Did We Talk About

Project Updates

  • Billy got big pieces of suede and he's talking to local companies about them donating materials to us
  • Dan J. showed a prototype of an access control device for use on machines in the space
  • Markus showed his progress on the “endless soap dispenser”
  • Tom G. drilled holes in the control box for the Can Cuber (to be shown at Maker Faire Milwaukee)
  • Hal printed a bunch of shirts and they turned out “really good!”
  • Alex brought in some wearable art in the form of a jewelry thing
  • Mark R. made great progress on the “Spice Must Flow” kinetic art sand table thing (to be shown at Maker Faire Milwaukee)
  • Dan J. laser etched a slate coaster he got at Michaels craft store
  • Billy has taken over the CD Chandelier project and needs help making holes and crimping wires
