Dr. Sheppard and others from USPTO will be vising next week during the meeting
Proposals for Bylaws revisions
targeting 7/19 for the initial discussion of proposed revisions, followed by a vote from 7/26 thru 8/2
allow board standing committees to help with workload
hardship suspension of membership
formally describe family membership and related rights
split election cycles to aid in continuity of the board of directors

Wolfgang showed off Scott Smith's pottery made with the raku kiln, which Wolfgang glazed and fired
Pete made a mini drill press out of scrap and drawer slides from the hack rack
Carl is working on a smart mirror running on Raspberry Pi for his tiny bathroom
Tom turned a hunk of steel into a smaller, lighter hunk of steel (nuts for the Groton mill, made on the Bridgeport)
Jake is making his senior film (look for it on Facebook and Indigogo - look for “Rook”)
Isaac finished painting his car, and finished the cooler holder for his car
Mark is working on a Core XY 3D printer
Keith spent 3 weeks building a cedar fence

Dave is from Texas and is moving to Milwaukee, heard about us from an auto shop and a wood shop
Todd has been aware of us since we started, and finally came to visit, currently messing around with motorized bicycles
Brian learned about us from gallery night, and is interested in wood, metal, pottery and electronics
Tanya found us from the entrepeneurs and inventors club in Racine, and is interested in programming and hald-held gaming devices
Erin came with Brian, is a photographer
Jill lives in the neighborhood, and saw the article in the Bay View Compass, and is interested in arts other than the ones she does currently. She brought her mom!
