  • It was awesome! (Duh.) JasonH said we may have had up to 1,000 people in the space throughout the night. The only issue seemed to be the toilet/sewage problem. (And it looks like someone stole/borrowed one of Pete's wooden knuckles.)
• Two future events:
  • 3rd Ward Gallery Night, Friday, April 19th, 2013 at our space
    • We are not an official participant, but will open our doors to the public to show off our stuff.
  • Bay View Gallery Night, Friday, May 31st, 2013 at our space
    • We *are* and official participant, and it will be totally awesome. Talk to Pete or KevinB. Jen Funk is our contact for the event.
  • Anyone interested in collaboratively making “collapsible gallery walls” with JasonH and KevinB for events like these?
    • We may use the old cubicle walls on rolling bases, or something else. We might also use them as room dividers for making a classroom in the Meeting Space, separating it (temporarily) from the Electronics Lab.
• Reminder: Aluminum Casting is planned for Thursday, April 4nd, 2013
  • Show up and carve some pink foam (or bring a pre-carved piece) and cast it!
• Reminder: 3D Printing Meetup is planned for Saturday, April 6th, 2013
  • We had nearly 100 people last time, so we should be ready for that, and arrange the meeting space to accommodate it.
• Reminder: MEOW Meeting is planned for Saturday, April 6th, 2013
  • Jack D. will talk about energy-related things.
• Otjen St. Parking
  • It was noted that Otjen Street has no alley so residents of Otjen need to park on the street, which follows the alternate parking regulations of the City of Milwaukee, and we should try to park on the wrong side of the street. Some local will provide us with a schedule or something. If your car is there past 2am move it to our parking area or you may get a ticket.
• Update on changes to the Craft Lab
  • The Craft Lab area will expand a bit towards the area where the desk is, and the pinball machine will be moved out to make room.
  • There will be a new 4×8 table put in place.
  • Some new storage bins appeared tonight, and Caitlin, Colleen and Lexie are heading up the efforts.
