Resin Bonded Sand Mixer

The Red Husky is owned by Dave Arnold

It is has been converted to be used only for resin bond sand.

It can only be used by trained individuals.

It can be used with clunkers or Dave Arnold's paddle mixer.

Sodium Silicate is the preferred Chemistry but oil based Chemistry is allowed to be used in this mixer.

NO GREEN SAND OR PETROBOND SAND ALLOW IN THIS MIXER

The mixer has to be cleaned immaculately after every use with a wire brush and putty knife. Do not let the sand build up.

You must be signed off to do each of these roles, you do not need to learn all roles to participate in the Sand Party:

• Chemist: Mix the chemistry
• Sand Cleaner: clean the mixer
• Sand Mixer: physically mix the sand
• Runners: Distribute sand to other members
