      1. Brant to reply to state's letter

      1. Tiffany offered to help

      1. Annual fire alarm test
      2. Tom said no specific due date
  2. 7:08 - Policies and Procedures
    1. Tiffany and Steve noted there was a brownout earlier in the week
    2. Some lights were on, others off
    3. Tiffany asked for a plan/procedure to address brownouts in the future

    1. 4×8 CNC Router
      1. Steve made a proposal for matching donation funds to complete the router project
      2. MattJ vouched for Steve's work ethic
      3. Steve mentioned member interest exists for a CNC class/training
      4. VOTE: Approved Board to match funds 50/50 on the condition that a minimum of $200 be raised; max of $300, for a total of $600 max

      1. Lucy made a proposal to add a jewelry area and table to the West Room
      2. Shared/locking tool chests discussed

        4. DanJ offered to help put outlets on West Room ceilings
      2. VOTE: Board approved to fund up to $450 max for power and air reels

        1. Spare band saw blades (2) per saw approx. $200.00 total
        2. Green wheel for the bench grinder to sharped Carbide too bits. Approx. $50.00-$80.00 Ea.
        3. VOTE: Board approved to match funding 50/50, max of $150, for a total of $300

      1. NOTE: Tom said he would hold off on this proposal until we see what we may get donated
      2. Tom requested 2nd battery for the Milwaukee Cordless tools
        1. One is dying and one of the drills is awaiting new brushes (Tom to follow up on this)
        2. We currently have two drills, one impact driver and a sawzall that use the M18 batteries.
      3. Tom suggested we buy a second kit with a drill and impact driver plus 2 batteries and charger
        1. The kit costs about the same as buying 2 batteries
      4. Plus one or two more drills $269
      5. Plus one or two more drills with batteries $219
      6. Tiffany agreed to reach out to Milwaukee Electric Tool Co. for donations of batteries, etc.
  6. Events:

      1. Tiffany agreed to lead this effort, will work with Lance and others

  7. 8:13 - Quickbooks/Access Control Integration
    1. Royce/JoeR spoke recently, should be able to
    2. 50-60 members yet to be entered into Quickbooks

    1. 8:15 - East Room Storage and Vaults discussed
      1. Should vaults be eventually turned into localized work areas?
        1. Work rooms
        2. Community/group projects
        3. Not well supported in meeting
      2. East Room Storage
        1. Surplus high voltage equipment was being stored/sorted only temporary
        2. Not charging rent on floor space
        3. VOTE: Ask BobT to remove or put up-for-grabs by end of June; removed entirely by end of July
    2. 8:24 - Sanding fiberglass
      1. Tiffany asked that members not sand fiberglass
      2. Allergies and consideration for others
    3. Survey proposed to gauge members' views on best use for East Room
      1. BOD to discuss possible questions for survey online
    4. ChrisH proposed that future Board Members be compensated with paid memberships
      1. Idea had mixed reception
      2. By-laws would need to be changed; currently they state no compensation is allowed
      3. Chris and Brant noted board members often sacrifice personal time/focus and don't get to do much making
  9. Strategic Planning/Future
    1. Brant wants to set some goals before the next election
    2. Mission statements discussed
    3. Guide future boards
    4. What to do with growth; more members and income
    5. Brief discussion on Makerspace INC buying building from MMIG LLC
      1. Benefits not clear
        1. Tom said having two insurance policies costs the INC and LLC an extra $1500/year
        2. Also saving on property taxes
