Any Member can place a (usually orange) space project permit on a project that directly benefits the Makerspace if they have approval from an Area Champion or Board Member.
The validity of the permit will be set by the Area Champion or Board Member
Space Project permits are intended for projects like shelving, new tools, jigs, or other items that will remain at the Makerspace after they are created and directly benefit a significant number of Members.
Space Project permits may not be used for items on a space table, tool, painting area, aisle, cart, or other common area unless assigned to that location by an appropriate Area Champion or Board Member.
It is the Project Champion's responsibility to locate their project in an out-of-the-way area.
Working on a project regularly, even every day, does not mean that a Project Champion has the right to leave their work in or on a common work space when they are not present unless the Area Champion has signed off on it.
