Meeting called to order at 7:00
Madison Mini Maker Faire - Adrian needs people to help by:
Carl pointed out that there are only a hundred-some-odd days until Maker Faire, and they need area champions for
Tom Gr has been going to auctions, and bought a bunch of fixed shield welding helmets, and a stack of angle grinders. See Tom if you want your very own fixed shield welding helmets. He will be selling drills and saws-alls (Milwaukee) which he is selling. Buy them to enable his bad habit of going to auctions.
The leather area champions request that you get trained before using tools in the leather area, and not borrow tools and not return them. Several tools have been abused, dulled, bent and otherwise maltreated.
The craft lab is missing a solid white plastic bucket, they'd like it returned.
Kendra is interested in copper enameling, and was looking for help.
We saw:
a Minion outfit!
Karl brought a hydraulic arm he made on the laser cutters and in the woodshed
One of our maker’s projects will be shown off on the Safari web site
Jon, Bob and Dan took a Dalek for ComicCon and took best of show!
The bog chair in the lobby
Carl made an end table to go with his coffee table, and boxes with the scrap wood
Lance added clear coat to his Makerspace sign
Awesomeness!
