Black Friday Make-A-Thon Recap
Update on Lenox (taken from Dennis' email)
- The roof will be done in about a week.
- Final plans were discussed yesterday with the builder
- Can the builder pull permits yet? Yes, will get submitted tomorrow
- Tom estimates that the build-out will take about a week, once the permits have been obtained.
- We also want to grind down and re-seal the concrete floors during this time. (Maybe starting to grind as early as Saturday!) Hopefully this can be accomplished during the 2-week permitting process, which may be shorter now.
- Jim suggested using shot, recycling shot
- So, our best estimate to begin the move is 12/17
- We may be able to start moving things in earlier, if we can get the floor sealed, at least in the large East room, but several things have to align for that to happen. (Tom's new forklift must be made operational and we have to move out all the existing steel scrap.)
- Forklift coming soon
- Old restaurant 2-compartment sink wanted for a cleanup area
Rental Space and Storage at Lenox (will be covered in more detail at Thursday's Board Meeting)
- Tom said ok to move stuff into vaults as soon as pricing is set and floors are finished
- Access system will need to be in place also
Holidays and Tuesday Meetings (12/25 and 1/1 fall on Tuesdays, should we cancel those meetings?)
