Repair History

This is a partial list only

July 30, 2018: 120v control cabinet fan died, z axis driver heat watchdog tripped shutting down the z axis, z axis test working fine once it cooled down. (spilon)

2021 The original used ball screw broke, multiple valiant attempts were made to repair it but those proved unsuccessful. A new ball screw was purchased and the z axis was modified to accept the new ball screw.

Settings

Base cut setting for a 1/4“ 2 flute square nose (straight or spiral flute)bit:

  • 12,000 RPM
  • 1/8” Depth of cut
  • 120 Inch's per minute feed
  • 50 Inch's per minute plunge rate
